Thomas cook launched the new summer programme " teens club " at the smash katameya Residence sporting club during summer 2009. The idea of the club was to engage kids aged between 11 and 15 years old in useful and Fun activities during part of their long mid-year summer vacation. helping parents find intersting informative and Fun things for their children to do. The programme comprised intellectual, sporting and entertainment activities including aerobics,swimming,tennis,Football andbasketball. also on offer were cookery sessions,Field trips with lunch provided each day. Aspire company supported the team building games and etiqette for Thomas cook.
Thomas cook supported supervisors for each round that were present every day for monitoring the programme and taking care of the young teens.

Everybody-parents,supervisors and children alike-Felt that two weeks programme was a great success and there have been lots of requests for repeated rounds in the next year. The club"s slogan " learn to be a leader "

Echoed the activities undertaken at the club where the kids learned a lot, had great Fun and made new friends

Every year, Thomas cook holds a bowling Tournament during the holy month of Ramadan and this year was no exception. The fifth Tournament took place at Dar el Moushah Bowling centre and was especially well attended.

Several airline teams were invited to take part in the Tournament along with a team from thomas cook and five took up the challenge. these included qater Airways,KLM,Air France,Alitalia and Etihad.

Souvenirs for the occasion were provided by Thomas cook in the Form of give aways bearing the name and date of the event. qatar Airways, received a trphy also engraved with details of the competition.

Sunrise Resorts and Nile cruises offered three prizes For the best three players in the tournament. The Lucky winners received a gift voutcher For 2 nights at Sunride Resorts in Hurghada , Sharm el sheikh and marsa Alam.

Members of Thomas cook senior management team and a number of staff attended the event. either playing or cheering their team on and , as always, the evening was a great success. players and guests alike are looking forward to a repeat performance next year.


In the end I want to say we must ask what is the Benefits that can take it from Thomas cook

1- The ploicy for staff investment and incentive by giving our staff an incentive Trip awarded.

2- The competition between the guest and also between the staff.
