I am researching industry perceptions of TripAdvisor. Industry comments either see them as an Angel or a Deamon. I have evidence showing me that an hotelier raised the business value of an hotel with the guidance of TripAdvisor - from buying it to selling it. On the other side an ex Hotel Inspector (and now Hotelier) has made a commanding case that it is reliant too much on emotional experience rather than quality criteria.What are your views? Just how many of you are effected by the comments from clients on line. Today media like Tripadvisor give instant feedback from customers who are addressing their agenda not a pre-set impression a brand wants to focus on. Yes it makes sence. Yo do what I do but I don`t cook anymore. I just tell them what to do! Mostly my clients don`t know the first idea about control, cost or promotion!

thank you again, I suppose you are right, What I used to do in NZ was big cooking classes infront of about 100 people (as I lived in London for 10 years and NZ for 12, I developped what I called a anglo-french Humour, sharp,cold and to the point) and I had a cooking school for kids who was a true success, this is how I meet Gordon, I do think it is just an image for him all this fuck and bits...but what I like the most of what i did in NZ was to help restaurant or business to improve as I am a business woman.

thanks first to take the time to answer back, this is what I have done, I had my own business for 10 years and people started to ask me to coach and helpwith my experience in big restaurants in the UK like quaglinos, le pont de la tour and friends that I meet in NZ like gordon ramsey or even coworker like John Torode who own smith of smithfield in London ,I knew what needed to be done and the beauty about NZ is that everything need to be done ,also I did but one of my child was allergic to plants in New zealand and we had to come back to france that I find very backward. and close to coaching and I don't even think they heard about speakers
